ततॊ बकवधः पर्व पर्व चैत्ररथं ततः ततः सवयंवरं देव्याः पाञ्चाल्याः पर्व चॊच्यते ।। १-२-३६ ।।

sanskrit

'Then comes Baka-badha (slaughter of Baka) and thenChitraratha. The next is called Swayamvara (selection of husband by Panchali), in which Arjuna by the exercise of Kshatriya virtues, won Draupadi for wife.'।। 1-2-36 ।।

english translation

tatò bakavadhaH parva parva caitrarathaM tataH tataH savayaMvaraM devyAH pAJcAlyAH parva còcyate || 1-2-36 ||
