यॊ विद्याच चतुरॊ वेदान साङ्गॊपनिषदान दविजः न चाख्यानम इदं विद्यान नैव स सयाद विचक्षणः ॥ १-२-२३५ ॥
' He who knows the four Vedas with all the Angas and Upanishads, but does not know this history (Bharata), cannot be regarded as wise.' ॥ 1-2-235 ॥
