अयुध्यमानम आत्मानं मन्त्रिणं पुरुषर्षभौ अक्षौहिणीं वा सैन्यस्य कस्य वा किं ददाम्य अहम ॥ १-२-१३८ ॥
' "The high-souled Krishna, upon these words being uttered, replied, "O ye first of men, a counselor in myself who will not fight and one Akshauhini of troops, which of these shall I give to which of you?".' ॥ 1-2-138 ॥
