ततस ते धृतराष्ट्रस्य भीष्मस्य च महात्मनः अन्येषां च तद अर्हाणां चक्रुः पादाभिवन्दनम ॥ १-१९९-२१ ॥
'Finally, upon arriving at the location, the Pandavas worshipped the feet of Dhritarashtra and the illustrious Bhishma.' ॥ 1-199-21 ॥

कृत्वा तु कुशलप्रश्नं सर्वेण नगरेण ते समाविशन्त वेश्मानि धृतराष्ट्रस्य शासनात ॥ १-१९९-२२ ॥
'They paid respects to all deserving individuals by worshipping their feet, and inquired about the well-being of every citizen present. Finally, following Dhritarashtra's command, they entered the chambers allotted to them.' ॥ 1-199-22 ॥

विश्रान्तास ते महात्मानः कं चित कालं महाबलाः आहूता धृतराष्ट्रेण राज्ञा शांतनवेन च ॥ १-१९९-२३ ॥
'After resting for some time, they were summoned to the court by King Dhritarashtra and Bhishma, the son of Santanu.' ॥ 1-199-23 ॥

[धृ] भरातृभिः सह कौन्तेय निबॊधेदं वचॊ मम पुनर वॊ विग्रहॊ मा भूत खाण्डव परस्थम आविश ॥ १-१९९-२४ ॥
'When they arrived, King Dhritarashtra addressed Yudhishthira, saying, "Listen, O son of Kunti, along with your brothers, to what I say. Go to Khandavaprastha so that no differences may arise again between you and your cousins."' ॥ 1-199-24 ॥

न च वॊ वसतस तत्र कश चिच छक्तः परबाधितुम संरक्ष्यमाणान पार्थेन तरिदशान इव वज्रिणा अर्धं राज्यस्य संप्राप्य खाण्डव परस्थम आविश ॥ १-१९९-२५ ॥
'And while you dwell there, no one will be able to harass you, Protected by Partha (Arjuna) as the gods are by the wielder of the thunderbolt (Indra). Having obtained half of the kingdom, enter Khandava-prastha.' ॥ 1-199-25 ॥
