दुर्यॊधनप्रभृतयः पुत्रा राजन यथा तव तथैव पाण्डवेयास ते पुत्रा राजन न संशयः ।। १-१९७-११ ।।

sanskrit

'If there is any partiality in your heart, O king, towards your own children, those who seek to exploit it through their counsel certainly do not benefit you.' ।। 1-197-11 ।।

english translation

duryòdhanaprabhRtayaH putrA rAjana yathA tava tathaiva pANDaveyAsa te putrA rAjana na saMzayaH || 1-197-11 ||

'Therefore, O king, these illustrious persons endowed with great splendor have, I believe, not uttered anything that leads to evil. However, you do not seem to understand this.' ।। 1-197-12 ।।

teSu ceda ahitaM kiM cina mantrayeyura abuddhitaH mantriNasa te na te zareyaH parapazyanti vizeSataH || 1-197-12 ||

'Furthermore, O king, if there is any particular bias in your heart towards them, even though they explain their inner thoughts, they may not act in your best interest.' ।। 1-197-13 ।।

'And whatever was the inability of those two superior men to inflict (harm), O tiger among men, may that bode well for you.' ।। 1-197-15 ।।
