परेष्यतां वापि राधेयस तेषाम आगमनाय वै ते लॊप्त्र हारैः संधाय वध्यन्ताम आप्तकारिभिः ॥ १-१९३-१६ ॥
'Or, O Radheya (Karna), let messengers be sent to bring them here, and upon their arrival, through trusted agents, employ any of these methods to have them slain.' ॥ 1-193-16 ॥
english translation
एतेषाम अभ्युपायानां यस ते निर्दॊषवान मतः तस्य परयॊगम आतिष्ठ पुरा कालॊ ऽतिवर्तते ॥ १-१९३-१७ ॥
'O father, strive to use whichever method seems flawless to you. Time is passing.' ॥ 1-193-17 ॥
english translation
यावच चाकृत विश्वासा दरुपदे पार्थिवर्षभे तावद एवाद्य ते शक्या न शक्यास तु ततः परम ॥ १-१९३-१८ ॥
'Before they establish confidence in King Drupada, who is among the foremost of kings, we may succeed in confronting them. However, once they have established confidence in Drupada, our efforts are likely to fail.' ॥ 1-193-18 ॥

एषा मम मतिस तात निग्रहाय परवर्तते साधु वा यदि वासाधु किं वा राधेय मन्यसे ॥ १-१९३-१९ ॥
'These, O father, are my strategies for the defeat of the Pandavas. Judge whether they are good or bad. What do you think, O Karna?' ॥ 1-193-19 ॥
