इति तथ्यं महाराज सर्वम एतद बरवीमि ते भवान हि गुरुर अस्माकं परमं च परायणम ॥ १-१८७-११ ॥
'O king, you are our respected superior and chief refuge. I have spoken the complete truth to you.' ॥ 1-187-11 ॥
english translation
[वै] ततः स दरुपदॊ राजा हर्षव्याकुल लॊचनः परतिवक्तुं तदा युक्तं नाशकत तं युधिष्ठिरम ॥ १-१८७-१२ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued, 'Upon hearing those words, King Drupada's eyes filled with ecstasy. Filled with delight, the king was momentarily unable to respond to Yudhishthira.' ॥ 1-187-12 ॥

यत्नेन तु स तं हर्षं संनिगृह्य परंतपः अनुरूपं ततॊ राजा परत्युवाच युधिष्ठिरम ॥ १-१८७-१३ ॥
'Exerting great effort to compose himself, that vanquisher of foes finally responded to Yudhishthira with appropriate words.' ॥ 1-187-13 ॥

पप्रच्छ चैनं धर्मात्मा यथा ते परद्रुताः पुरा स तस्मै सर्वम आचख्याव आनुपूर्व्येण पाण्डवः ॥ १-१८७-१४ ॥
'The virtuous monarch inquired how the Pandavas had escaped from the town of Varanavata. Yudhishthira then recounted every detail of their escape from the burning palace of lac.' ॥ 1-187-14 ॥

तच छरुत्वा दरुपदॊ राजा कुन्तीपुत्रस्य भाषितम विगर्हयाम आस तदा धृतराष्ट्रं जनेश्वरम ॥ १-१८७-१५ ॥
'After hearing everything the son of Kunti said, King Drupada strongly condemned Dhritarashtra, that ruler of men.' ॥ 1-187-15 ॥
