अयं च कामॊ दरुपदस्य राज्ञॊ; हृदि सथितॊ नित्यम अनिन्दिताङ्गाः यद अर्जुनॊ वै पृथु दीर्घबाहुर; धर्मेण विन्देत सुतां ममेति ।। १-१८५-१९ ।।

sanskrit

'Ye heroes with faultless features, King Drupada has always held in his heart the desire that Arjuna, with his strong and long arms, would marry his daughter according to the customs. If this has now become possible, nothing could be more auspicious, beneficial, or conducive to fame and virtue as far as Drupada is concerned.' ।। 1-185-19 ।।

english translation

ayaM ca kAmò darupadasya rAjJò; hRdi sathitò nityama aninditAGgAH yada arjunò vai pRthu dIrghabAhura; dharmeNa vindeta sutAM mameti || 1-185-19 ||
