ते विक्रमन्तः सफुरता दृढेन; निष्कृष्यमाणा धनुषा नरेन्द्राः विचेष्टमाना धरणीतलस्था; दीना अदृश्यन्त विभग्न चित्ताः ॥ १-१७८-१६ ॥

sanskrit

'They, the mighty heroes, trembling fiercely; drawn by a sturdy bow, the leaders of men; scurrying on the surface of the earth; were seen distressed, their minds shattered.' ॥ 1-178-16 ॥

english translation

te vikramantaH saphuratA dRDhena; niSkRSyamANA dhanuSA narendrAH viceSTamAnA dharaNItalasthA; dInA adRzyanta vibhagna cittAH ॥ 1-178-16 ॥
