[आुर्व] उक्तवान अस्मि यां करॊधात परतिज्ञां पितरस तदा सर्वलॊकविनाशाय न सा मे वितथा भवेत ॥ १-१७१-१ ॥

'The Gandharva continued, 'Vasishtha then went on to say, 'Upon hearing these words from the Pitris, Aurva replied to them, O child, saying: 'O Pitris, the vow I made in anger for the destruction of all worlds must not be in vain.'' ॥ 1-171-1 ॥

english translation

[Aurva] uktavAna asmi yAM karòdhAta paratijJAM pitarasa tadA sarvalòkavinAzAya na sA me vitathA bhaveta ॥ 1-171-1 ॥
