भूमौ तु निदधुः के चिद भृगवॊ धनभक्षयम ददुः के चिद दविजातिभ्यॊ जञात्वा कषत्रियतॊ भयम ।। १-१६९-१५ ।।

sanskrit

'Some among the Bhrigus, to safeguard their riches, buried them underground; others, fearing the Kshatriyas, began to distribute their wealth to other Brahmanas, while some of them willingly gave whatever the Kshatriyas requested.' ।। 1-169-15 ।।

english translation

bhUmau tu nidadhuH ke cida bhRgavò dhanabhakSayama daduH ke cida davijAtibhyò jaJAtvA kaSatriyatò bhayama || 1-169-15 ||
