[ग] तम आपतन्तं संप्रेक्ष्य वसिष्ठॊ भगवान ऋषिः वारयाम आस तेजस्वी हुंकरेणैव भारत ।। १-१६८-३ ।।

'The Gandharva continued, 'As the king advanced with menacing intent, the illustrious Rishi Vasishtha, his form luminous with transcendent energy, arrested the monarch's charge, O scion of Bharata, with but a single utterance of the sacred syllable "Hum"' ।। 1-168-3 ।।

[ga] tama ApatantaM saMprekSya vasiSThò bhagavAna RSiH vArayAma Asa tejasvI huMkareNaiva bhArata || 1-168-3 ||
