एवम उक्तस तदा सूदः सॊ ऽनासाद्यामिषं कव चित निवेदयाम आस तदा तस्मै राज्ञे वयथान्वितः ॥ १-१६६-२६ ॥

sanskrit

'The Gandharva continued, 'Following the command, the cook ventured out in search of meat. Distressed by his inability to find any, he reported his failure to the king.'' ॥ 1-166-26 ॥

english translation

evama uktasa tadA sUdaH sò 'nAsAdyAmiSaM kava cita nivedayAma Asa tadA tasmai rAjJe vayathAnvitaH ॥ 1-166-26 ॥
