एवम उक्तस तदा सूदः सॊ ऽनासाद्यामिषं कव चित निवेदयाम आस तदा तस्मै राज्ञे वयथान्वितः ।। १-१६६-२६ ।।

sanskrit

'The Gandharva continued, 'Following the command, the cook ventured out in search of meat. Distressed by his inability to find any, he reported his failure to the king.'' ।। 1-166-26 ।।

english translation

evama uktasa tadA sUdaH sò 'nAsAdyAmiSaM kava cita nivedayAma Asa tadA tasmai rAjJe vayathAnvitaH || 1-166-26 ||
