पुत्रव्यसनसंतप्तः शक्तिमान अपि यः परभुः विश्वामित्र विनाशाय न मेने कर्म दारुणम ॥ १-१६४-७ ॥

'Even though tormented by the affliction of his son's misdeeds, and possessing great power, the mighty lord, Vishwamitra, did not contemplate such a dire act for the destruction of Vishwamitra.' ॥ 1-164-7 ॥

putravyasanasaMtaptaH zaktimAna api yaH parabhuH vizvAmitra vinAzAya na mene karma dAruNama ॥ 1-164-7 ॥
