सहस्रांशुं ततॊ विप्रः कृताञ्जलिर उपस्थितः वसिष्ठॊ ऽहम इति परीत्या स चात्मानं नयवेदयत ॥ १-१६२-१७ ॥
'With folded hands, the Brahmin approached the god of a thousand rays and cheerfully introduced himself, saying, "I am Vasishtha."' ॥ 1-162-17 ॥
