अर्थर्क्ष पुत्रः कौन्तेय कुरूणाम ऋषभॊ बली सूर्यम आराधयाम आस नृपः संवरणः सदा ॥ १-१६०-१२ ॥

'Artharva, the son of Kunti, a mighty bull among the Kurus, constantly worshipped the sun and was always engaged in protecting the people.' ॥ 1-160-12 ॥
