[विस्णु] बलं ददामि सर्वेषां कर्मैतद ये समास्थिताः कषॊभ्यतां कलशः सर्वैर मन्दरः परिवर्त्यताम ॥ १-१६-३१ ॥
'Then Narayana agreeing to grant their various prayers, said, 'Ye wise ones, I grant you sufficient strength. Go, put the mountain in position again and churn the water.' ॥ 1-16-31 ॥
english translation
[visNu] balaM dadAmi sarveSAM karmaitada ye samAsthitAH kaSòbhyatAM kalazaH sarvaira mandaraH parivartyatAma ॥ 1-16-31 ॥

'Re-established thus in strength, the gods recommenced churning. After a while, the mild Moon of a thousand rays emerged from the Ocean.' ॥ 1-16-32 ॥

[sUta] nArAyaNa vacaH zarutvA balinasa te mahòdadheH tata payaH sahitA bhUyaza cakrire bhRzama Akulama ॥ 1-16-32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततः शतसहस्रांशुः समान इव सागरात परसन्नभाः समुत्पन्नः सॊमः शीतांशुर उज्ज्वलः ॥ १-१६-३३ ॥
'Then, like a hundred thousand moons simultaneously rising from the ocean, a radiant and cool moon emerged, pleasing to all.' ॥ 1-16-33 ॥

tataH zatasahasrAMzuH samAna iva sAgarAta parasannabhAH samutpannaH sòmaH zItAMzura ujjvalaH ॥ 1-16-33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशरीर अनन्तरम उत्पन्ना घृतात पाण्डुरवासिनी सुरा देवी समुत्पन्ना तुरगः पाण्डुरस तथा ॥ १-१६-३४ ॥
'Arising from the innermost part, the divine river Ganga, pure and radiant, emerged. Similarly, the goddess of wine and the divine White Horse manifested.' ॥ 1-16-34 ॥

zarIra anantarama utpannA ghRtAta pANDuravAsinI surA devI samutpannA turagaH pANDurasa tathA ॥ 1-16-34 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकौस्तुभश च मणिर दिव्य उत्पन्नॊ ऽमृतसंभवः मरीचिविकचः शरीमान नारायण उरॊगतः ॥ १-१६-३५ ॥
'The celestial gem Kaustubha, born of the ocean of nectar, manifested along with a radiant brilliance. Adorning the chest of Narayana, it shone like a brilliant particle of light.' ॥ 1-16-35 ॥

kaustubhaza ca maNira divya utpannò 'mRtasaMbhavaH marIcivikacaH zarImAna nArAyaNa urògataH ॥ 1-16-35 ॥
