[आर्ज] तवत्तॊ ऽसत्रेण वृणॊम्य अश्वान संयॊगः शाश्वतॊ ऽसतु नौ सखे तद बरूहि गन्धर्व युष्मभ्यॊ यद भयं तयजेत ॥ १-१५८-५५ ॥

sanskrit

'Arjuna replied, "I would accept your horses in exchange for my weapon. Let our friendship be everlasting. O friend, please enlighten us about the reasons why humans should fear the Gandharvas. As warriors and followers of righteousness, well-versed in the Vedas, we seek your guidance, O Gandharva. Explain to us why you have criticized our night travels."' ॥ 1-158-55 ॥

[Arja] tavattò 'satreNa vRNòmya azvAna saMyògaH zAzvatò 'satu nau sakhe tada barUhi gandharva yuSmabhyò yada bhayaM tayajeta ॥ 1-158-55 ॥
