शब्दं तेषां स शुश्राव नदीं समुपसर्पताम तेन शब्देन चाविष्टश चुक्रॊध बलवद बली ॥ १-१५८-५ ॥

'The king of the Gandharvas heard the footsteps of the Pandavas as they approached the river. Enraged by the sound of their approach, the mighty Gandharva, inflamed with wrath.' ॥ 1-158-5 ॥

english translation

zabdaM teSAM sa zuzrAva nadIM samupasarpatAma tena zabdena cAviSTaza cukròdha balavada balI ॥ 1-158-5 ॥
