वयं च शक्तिसंपन्ना अकाले तवाम अधृष्णुमः अशक्ता हि कषणे करूरे युष्मान अर्चन्ति मानवाः ।। १-१५८-१६ ।।

sanskrit

'O dweller of the skies, whether one's stomach is empty or full, whether it's night or day, there is no particular time for anyone to come to the Ganga, the most eminent of rivers. As for us, possessing strength, we are indifferent to when we confront you. O wicked one, it is the feeble in battle who pay homage to you.' ।। 1-158-16 ।।

english translation

vayaM ca zaktisaMpannA akAle tavAma adhRSNumaH azaktA hi kaSaNe karUre yuSmAna arcanti mAnavAH || 1-158-16 ||
