[देवी] अवलिप्तं मे मुखं बरह्मन पुण्यान गन्धान बिभर्मि च सुतार्थेनॊपरुद्धास्मि तिष्ठ याज मम परिये ।। १-१५५-३५ ।।

sanskrit

'Hearing this, the queen responded, 'O Brahmana, my mouth still carries the scent of saffron and other fragrances, and my body is adorned with sweet scents; I am not yet prepared to accept the sanctified butter for bearing offspring. Please wait for a while, O Yaja! Let that auspicious moment arrive.' ।। 1-155-35 ।।

english translation

[devI] avaliptaM me mukhaM barahmana puNyAna gandhAna bibharmi ca sutArthenòparuddhAsmi tiSTha yAja mama pariye || 1-155-35 ||
