ततस तु पृषते ऽतीते स राजा दरुपदॊ ऽभवत दरॊणॊ ऽपि रामं शुश्राव दित्सन्तं वसु सर्वशः ।। १-१५४-८ ।।

'After the demise of King Prishata, his son Drupada ascended the throne. Around this time, Drona heard that the great Brahmin warrior Rama, son of Jamadagni, was intent on renouncing the world and wished to give away all his wealth.' ।। 1-154-8 ।।

english translation

tatasa tu pRSate 'tIte sa rAjA darupadò 'bhavata daròNò 'pi rAmaM zuzrAva ditsantaM vasu sarvazaH || 1-154-8 ||
