[बर] असत्कारः स सुमहान मुहूर्तम अपि तस्य तु न वयेति हृदयाद राज्ञॊ दुर्मनाः स कृशॊ ऽभवत ।। १-१५४-२५ ।।

sanskrit

'The Brahmana continued, 'Upon being addressed by the wise son of Bharadwaja, the king of the Panchalas replied to that eminent Brahmana and unparalleled expert in weaponry, 'O noble son of Bharadwaja, so be it. Let there be an enduring friendship between us as you desire!' Thus, having exchanged these words and cemented a lasting bond, Drona and the king of Panchala, both renowned for their prowess in battle, departed to their respective abodes. However, the memory of that humiliation lingered incessantly in the king's mind. Troubled at heart, he began to waste away.' ।। 1-154-25 ।।
