आचार्य वेतनं किं चिद धृदि संपरिवर्तते कृतास्त्रैस तत परदेयं सयात तद ऋतं वदतानघाः ॥ १-१५४-१९ ॥

sanskrit

'O revered Teacher, is there a fixed compensation that rightfully belongs to you? It is said that whatever is offered should be by truth to those who speak.' ॥ 1-154-19 ॥

english translation

AcArya vetanaM kiM cida dhRdi saMparivartate kRtAstraisa tata paradeyaM sayAta tada RtaM vadatAnaghAH ॥ 1-154-19 ॥
