तथा बलवता भीमः पाणिभ्यां भृशम आहतः नैवावलॊकयाम आस राक्षसं भुङ्क्त एव सः ॥ १-१५१-११ ॥
'Bhima, though struck heavily, didn't so much as look at the Rakshasa, persisting in his eating as before.' ॥ 1-151-11 ॥
english translation
ततः स भूयः संक्रुद्धॊ वृक्षम आदाय राक्षसः ताडयिष्यंस तदा भीमं पुनर अभ्यद्रवद बली ॥ १-१५१-१२ ॥
'The enraged Rakshasa, displaying his immense strength, uprooted a tree and charged at Bhima once more.' ॥ 1-151-12 ॥
english translation
ततॊ भीमः शनैर भुक्त्वा तदन्नं पुरुषर्षभः वार्य उपस्पृश्य संहृष्टस तस्थौ युधि महाबलः ॥ १-१५१-१३ ॥
'Meanwhile, Bhima, the mighty warrior among men, had calmly finished consuming all the food and was now washing himself, prepared for battle.' ॥ 1-151-13 ॥

कषिप्तं करुद्धेन तं वृक्षं परतिजग्राह वीर्यवान सव्येन पाणिना भीमः परहसन्न इव भारत ॥ १-१५१-१४ ॥
'With great energy, Bhima, smiling scornfully, effortlessly caught the tree hurled at him by the Rakshasa with his left hand.' ॥ 1-151-14 ॥

ततः स पुनर उद्यम्य वृक्षान बहुविधान बली पराहिणॊद भीमसेनाय तस्मै भीमश च पाण्डवः ॥ १-१५१-१५ ॥
'The Rakshasa, then, tore up many more trees and hurled them at Bhima, who responded in kind, hurling as many trees back at the Rakshasa.' ॥ 1-151-15 ॥
