कथं परसुतस्यार्थे सवसुतं तयक्तुम इच्छसि लॊकवृत्ति विरुद्धं वै पुत्र तयागात कृतं तवया ॥ १-१५०-६ ॥
'Why, mother, would you sacrifice your own child for the sake of another's? By abandoning your child, you have not only acted against human norms but also violated the teachings of the Vedas.' ॥ 1-150-6 ॥
english translation
kathaM parasutasyArthe savasutaM tayaktuma icchasi lòkavRtti viruddhaM vai putra tayAgAta kRtaM tavayA ॥ 1-150-6 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयस्य बाहू समाश्रित्य सुखं सर्वे सवपामहे राज्यं चापहृतं कषुद्रैर आजिहीर्षामहे पुनः ॥ १-१५०-७ ॥
'Bhima, upon whose strength we rely for our safety and the recovery of our kingdom usurped by Dhritarashtra's covetous son.' ॥ 1-150-7 ॥
english translation
yasya bAhU samAzritya sukhaM sarve savapAmahe rAjyaM cApahRtaM kaSudraira AjihIrSAmahe punaH ॥ 1-150-7 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयस्य दुर्यॊधनॊ वीर्यं चिन्तयन्न अमितौजसः न शेते वसतीः सर्वा दुःखाच छकुनिना सह ॥ १-१५०-८ ॥
'He whose thoughts dwell on the valor of Duryodhana, whose power knows no bounds, finds no rest anywhere, tormented by every sorrow.' ॥ 1-150-8 ॥
english translation
yasya duryòdhanò vIryaM cintayanna amitaujasaH na zete vasatIH sarvA duHkhAca chakuninA saha ॥ 1-150-8 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयस्य वीरस्य वीर्येण मुक्ता जतु गृहाद वयम अन्येभ्यश चैव पापेभ्यॊ निहतश च पुरॊचनः ॥ १-१५०-९ ॥
'We have been freed from the abode of the mighty one by the might of that mighty hero, and the wicked Purochana has been slain, along with others.' ॥ 1-150-9 ॥

yasya vIrasya vIryeNa muktA jatu gRhAda vayama anyebhyaza caiva pApebhyò nihataza ca puròcanaH ॥ 1-150-9 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयस्य वीर्यं समाश्रित्य वसु पूर्णां वसुंधराम इमां मन्यामहे पराप्तां निहत्य धृतराष्ट्रजान ॥ १-१५०-१० ॥
'We consider that by relying on whose valor, we will acquire the entire Earth, and having slain the sons of Dhritarashtra, we shall enjoy it fully.' ॥ 1-150-10 ॥

yasya vIryaM samAzritya vasu pUrNAM vasuMdharAma imAM manyAmahe parAptAM nihatya dhRtarASTrajAna ॥ 1-150-10 ॥
