यॊ बराह्मणस्य साहाय्यं कुर्याद अर्थेषु कर्हि चित कषत्रियः स शुभाँल लॊकान पराप्नुयाद इति मे शरुतम ॥ १-१५०-२१ ॥
'One who aids a Brahmana in matters of wealth or any other need, O Yudhishthira, earns auspicious realms in the world. That is what I have heard.' ॥ 1-150-21 ॥

कषत्रियः कषत्रियस्यैव कुर्वाणॊ वधमॊक्षणम विपुलां कीर्तिम आप्नॊति लॊके ऽसमिंश च परत्र च ॥ १-१५०-२२ ॥
'A Kshatriya who performs the task of slaying another Kshatriya in a righteous battle gains extensive fame both in this world and beyond.' ॥ 1-150-22 ॥

वैश्यस्यैव तु साहाय्यं कुर्वाणः कषत्रियॊ युधि स सर्वेष्व अपि लॊकेषु परजा रञ्जयते धरुवम ॥ १-१५०-२३ ॥
'A Kshatriya rendering help unto a Vaisya also on this earth certainly acquires world-wide popularity.' ॥ 1-150-23 ॥

शूद्रं तु मॊक्षयन राजा शरणार्थिनम आगतम पराप्नॊतीह कुले जन्म सद्रव्ये राजसत्कृते ॥ १-१५०-२४ ॥
'A king from a noble lineage should provide protection to a Sudra seeking refuge. By doing so, in the next life, he obtains birth in a royal family, enjoying wealth and earning the respect of other kings.' ॥ 1-150-24 ॥

एवं स भवगान वयासः पुरा कौरवनन्दन परॊवाच सुतरां पराज्ञस तस्माद एतच चिकीर्षितम ॥ १-१५०-२५ ॥
'Thus spoke the wise Vyasa, O joy of the Kurus, to Dhritarashtra's son a long time ago, imparting profound knowledge. Hence, this has been desired.' ॥ 1-150-25 ॥
