[य] उपपन्नम इदं मातस तवया यद बुद्धिपूर्वकम आर्तस्य बराह्मणस्यैवम अनुक्रॊशाद इदं कृतम धरुवम एष्यति भीमॊ ऽयं निहत्य पुरुषादकम ॥ १-१५०-२६ ॥
'Upon hearing your words, Mother, Yudhishthira replied, "Your deliberate act of compassion towards the afflicted Brahmana is truly commendable. Bhima will undoubtedly return safely after vanquishing the cannibal, for your compassion towards Brahmanas is well-known.' ॥ 1-150-26 ॥
english translation
यथा तव इदं न विन्देयुर नरा नगरवासिनः तथायं बराह्मणॊ वाच्यः परिग्राह्यश च यत्नतः ॥ १-१५०-२७ ॥
'However, please convey to the Brahmana, Mother, that he should take care not to reveal anything that might divulge our involvement to the townsfolk, and ask him to solemnly promise to honor your request.' ॥ 1-150-27 ॥
