राजानं परथमं विन्देत ततॊ भार्यां ततॊ धनम तरयस्य संचये चास्य जञातीन पुत्रांश च धारयेत ॥ १-१४८-१२ ॥

sanskrit

'It has been said that one should first secure a good king, then a wife, and then wealth. It is through the acquisition of these three that one can rescue his relatives and sons.' ॥ 1-148-12 ॥

english translation

rAjAnaM parathamaM vindeta tatò bhAryAM tatò dhanama tarayasya saMcaye cAsya jaJAtIna putrAMza ca dhArayeta ॥ 1-148-12 ॥
