राजानं परथमं विन्देत ततॊ भार्यां ततॊ धनम तरयस्य संचये चास्य जञातीन पुत्रांश च धारयेत ।। १-१४८-१२ ।।

sanskrit

'It has been said that one should first secure a good king, then a wife, and then wealth. It is through the acquisition of these three that one can rescue his relatives and sons.' ।। 1-148-12 ।।

english translation

rAjAnaM parathamaM vindeta tatò bhAryAM tatò dhanama tarayasya saMcaye cAsya jaJAtIna putrAMza ca dhArayeta || 1-148-12 ||
