इत्य अर्थम इष्यते ऽपत्यं तारयिष्यति माम इति तस्मिन्न उपस्थिते काले तरतं पलववन मया ।। १-१४७-४ ।।

sanskrit

'Men desire children, believing that children will provide them with support in this world and in the afterlife. Therefore, cross the stream of your difficulties using me as a humble raft.' ।। 1-147-4 ।।

english translation

itya arthama iSyate 'patyaM tArayiSyati mAma iti tasminna upasthite kAle tarataM palavavana mayA || 1-147-4 ||
