इदं नगरम अभ्याशे रमणीयं निरामयम वसतेह परतिच्छन्ना ममागमनकाङ्क्षिणः ॥ १-१४४-११ ॥

'Listen to me! Not far from here lies a charming town where you will be safe from danger. Reside there in disguise until my return.' ॥ 1-144-11 ॥

[वै] एवं स तान समाश्वास्य वयासः पार्थान अरिंदमान एकचक्राम अभिगतः कुन्तीम आश्वासयत परभुः ॥ १-१४४-१२ ॥

'Vaisampayana continued, "Vyasa, the son of Satyavati, comforting the Pandavas, escorted them to the town of Ekachakra. He also provided solace to Kunti, their mother."' ॥ 1-144-12 ॥

जीवपुत्रि सुतस ते ऽयं धर्मपुत्रॊ युधिष्ठिरः पृथिव्यां पार्थिवान सर्वान परशासिष्यति धर्मराट ॥ १-१४४-१३ ॥

'Saying, "Live on, O daughter! Yudhishthira, your son, steadfast in truth, this illustrious leader among men, through his righteousness, will triumph over the entire world and govern all other monarchs of the earth."' ॥ 1-144-13 ॥

jIvaputri sutasa te 'yaM dharmaputrò yudhiSThiraH pRthivyAM pArthivAna sarvAna parazAsiSyati dharmarATa ॥ 1-144-13 ॥

धर्मेण जित्वा पृथिवीम अखिलां धर्मविद वशी भीमसेनार्जुन बलाद भॊक्ष्यत्य अयम असंशयः ॥ १-१४४-१४ ॥

'There is little doubt that, having by means of Bhima's and Arjuna's prowess conquered the whole earth with her belt of seas, he will enjoy the sovereignty thereof.' ॥ 1-144-14 ॥

dharmeNa jitvA pRthivIma akhilAM dharmavida vazI bhImasenArjuna balAda bhòkSyatya ayama asaMzayaH ॥ 1-144-14 ॥

पुत्रास तव च माद्र्याश च सर्व एव महारथाः सवराष्ट्रे विहरिष्यन्ति सुखं सुमनसस तदा ॥ १-१४४-१५ ॥

'Both your sons and those of Madri, all skilled in chariot warfare, will joyfully engage in activities of their choice within their own realms.' ॥ 1-144-15 ॥
