आर्ये जानासि यद दुःखम इह सत्रीणाम अनङ्गजम तद इदं माम अनुप्राप्तं भीमसेनकृतं शुभे ।। १-१४३-५ ।।

sanskrit

'O virtuous and revered lady, you are well acquainted with the profound anguish that women in this world must endure, the sorrow that is born from the depths of love itself. It is this very affliction that has now befallen me, a fate brought about by the actions of the mighty Bhimasena, O auspicious one.' ।। 1-143-5 ।।

english translation

Arye jAnAsi yada duHkhama iha satrINAma anaGgajama tada idaM mAma anuprAptaM bhImasenakRtaM zubhe || 1-143-5 ||
