धार्यौ परयत्नतॊ गर्भाव इत्य उक्त्वा स महातपाः ते भार्ये वरसंहृष्टे कश्यपॊ वनम आविशत ।। १-१४-११ ।।

'Having thus spoken, the illustrious Kasyapa, who was devoted to ascetic practices, made great efforts to bear the burden of his wives' pregnancies. Pleased with the boon, he entered the forest.'।। 1-14-11 ।।

english translation

dhAryau parayatnatò garbhAva itya uktvA sa mahAtapAH te bhArye varasaMhRSTe kazyapò vanama Avizata || 1-14-11 ||

'Delighted, the attendants carefully placed the eggs in different vessels, and for five hundred years, they were kept in favorable conditions.'।। 1-14-13 ।।

'Five hundred years passed away, and a thousand eggs produced by Kadru burst, and out came the progeny. But the twins of Vinata did not appear.'।। 1-14-14 ।।
