गच्छन्तु पुरुषाः शीघ्रं नगरं वारणावतम सत्कारयन्तु तान वीरान कुन्ति राजसुतां च ताम ॥ १-१३७-१२ ॥
'Go swiftly to Varanavata, men, and ensure that the funeral rites are conducted for those heroes and Kunti's daughter. Sanctify the bones of the deceased with customary rites, and perform all the customary and virtuous deeds customary on such occasions.' ॥ 1-137-12 ॥
