किं चिच च विदुरेणॊक्तॊ मलेच्छ वाचासि पाण्डव तवया च तत तथेत्य उक्तम एतद विश्वासकारणम ॥ १-१३५-६ ॥
'O son of Pandu, Vidura also conveyed something to you in the foreign tongue (Mlechchha tongue), to which you responded in the same language.' ॥ 1-135-6 ॥
english translation
kiM cica ca vidureNòktò maleccha vAcAsi pANDava tavayA ca tata tathetya uktama etada vizvAsakAraNama ॥ 1-135-6 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउवाच तं सत्यधृतिः कुन्तीपुत्रॊ युधिष्ठिरः अभिजानामि सौम्य तवां सुहृदं विदुरस्य वै ॥ १-१३५-७ ॥
'I present these details as my credentials." Hearing this, Yudhishthira, the truthful son of Kunti, responded, "O amiable one, I now recognize you as a dear and trusted friend of Vidura, steadfast and devoted to him."' ॥ 1-135-7 ॥

uvAca taM satyadhRtiH kuntIputrò yudhiSThiraH abhijAnAmi saumya tavAM suhRdaM vidurasya vai ॥ 1-135-7 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशुचिम आप्तं परियं चैव सदा च दृढभक्तिकम न विद्यते कवेः किं चिद अभिज्ञानप्रयॊजनम ॥ १-१३५-८ ॥
'There is no greater qualification for a wise man than purity, trustworthiness, and steadfast devotion.' ॥ 1-135-8 ॥

zucima AptaM pariyaM caiva sadA ca dRDhabhaktikama na vidyate kaveH kiM cida abhijJAnaprayòjanama ॥ 1-135-8 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयथा नः स तथा नस तवं निर्विशेषा वयं तवयि भवतः सम यथा तस्य पालयास्मान यथा कविः ॥ १-१३५-९ ॥
'Just as we belong to him, you belong to us. There is no difference between us in your regard. Protect us as he does.' ॥ 1-135-9 ॥

yathA naH sa tathA nasa tavaM nirvizeSA vayaM tavayi bhavataH sama yathA tasya pAlayAsmAna yathA kaviH ॥ 1-135-9 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइदं शरणम आग्नेयं मदर्थम इति मे मतिः पुरॊचनेन विहितं धार्तराष्ट्रस्य शासनात ॥ १-१३५-१० ॥
'I understand that this highly flammable house has been devised for me by Purochana under the command of Dhritarashtra's son.' ॥ 1-135-10 ॥
