तस्मिंस ततॊ ऽहनि पराप्ते राजा ससचिवस तदा भीष्मं परमुखतः कृत्वा कृपं चाचार्य सत्तमम ॥ १-१२४-१२ ॥

'On the day appointed for the tournament, the king, accompanied by his ministers, along with Bhishma and Kripa, the foremost of preceptors, arrived.' ॥ 1-124-12 ॥
