परतिगृह्य च तान सर्वान दरॊणॊ वचनम अब्रवीत रहस्य एकः परतीतात्मा कृतॊपसदनांस तदा ॥ १-१२२-४१ ॥

'Accepting them all as his disciples, one day Drona separated them and, having them touch his feet, spoke with a heart filled with emotion, "I have a specific goal in my mind. Promise me, O sinless ones, that when you become proficient in warfare, you will fulfill it.' ॥ 1-122-41 ॥

english translation

paratigRhya ca tAna sarvAna daròNò vacanama abravIta rahasya ekaH paratItAtmA kRtòpasadanAMsa tadA ॥ 1-122-41 ॥
