भीष्मः शरुत्वा कुमाराणां दरॊणं तं परत्यजानत युक्तरूपः स हि गुरुर इत्य एवम अनुचिन्त्य च ॥ १-१२२-२२ ॥
'Hearing the words of the princes, Bhishma recognized Drona. Considering him to be the master he should be, Bhishma thought, "Indeed, he is my teacher," and thus understood.' ॥ 1-122-22 ॥
