विकारं न हय अजनयत सुतीक्ष्णम अपि तद विषम भीम संहननॊ भीमस तद अप्य अजरयत ततः ॥ १-११९-४१ ॥
'The poison, despite being extremely potent, did not induce any change, and Bhima, the son of Vayu, neutralized it effortlessly.' ॥ 1-119-41 ॥
english translation
एवं दुर्यॊधनः कर्णः शकुनिश चापि सौबलः अनेकैर अभ्युपायैस ताञ जिघांसन्ति सम पाण्डवान ॥ १-११९-४२ ॥
'So, Duryodhana, Karna, and also Shakuni with his followers, employing various strategies, were constantly seeking ways to harm the Pandavas.' ॥ 1-119-42 ॥

पाण्डवाश चापि तत सर्वं परत्यजानन्न अरिंदमाः उद्भावनम अकुर्वन्तॊ विदुरस्य मते सथिताः ॥ १-११९-४३ ॥
'However, the Pandavas, abandoning all of that, remained steadfast in Vidura's counsel, refraining from retaliation.' ॥ 1-119-43 ॥
