तस्मिन्न एव कषणे सर्वे तान आदाय परतस्थिरे पाण्डॊर दारांश च पुत्रांश च शरीरं चैव तापसाः ॥ १-११७-६ ॥
'The ascetics departed immediately, taking with them the children, Kunti, and the two deceased bodies.' ॥ 1-117-6 ॥
english translation
सुखिनी सा पुरा भूत्वा सततं पुत्रवत्सला परपन्ना दीर्घम अध्वानं संक्षिप्तं तद अमन्यत ॥ १-११७-७ ॥
'Though unaccustomed to hardship throughout her life, the loving Kunti now considered the truly long journey ahead as very short.' ॥ 1-117-7 ॥
english translation
सा नदीर्घेण कालेन संप्राप्ता कुरुजाङ्गलम वर्धमानपुरद्वारम आससाद यशस्विनी ॥ १-११७-८ ॥
'Having traversed a long time along the river, she reached the illustrious Kurukshetra, arriving at the gate of the prosperous city.' ॥ 1-117-8 ॥

तं चारणसहस्राणां मुनीनाम आगमं तदा शरुत्वा नागपुरे नॄणां विस्मयः समजायत ॥ १-११७-९ ॥
'The ascetics instructed the porters to inform the king of their arrival, and the message was swiftly conveyed to the court. The citizens of Hastinapura, upon hearing of the arrival of thousands of Charanas and sages, were filled with wonder.' ॥ 1-117-9 ॥

मुहूर्तॊदित आदित्ये सर्वे धर्मपुरस्कृताः सदारास तापसान दरष्टुं निर्ययुः पुरवासिनः ॥ १-११७-१० ॥
'It was shortly after sunrise that they began to come out in large numbers with their wives and children to behold those ascetics.' ॥ 1-117-10 ॥
