उदारमनसः सिद्धा गमने चक्रिरे मनः भीष्माय पाण्डवान दातुं धृतराष्ट्राय चैव हि ॥ १-११७-५ ॥
'Continuing, Vaisampayana said, 'Then those godlike Rishis, with hearts full of magnanimity and crowned with ascetic success, gathering together, decided to proceed to Hastinapura with Pandu's children leading the way, intending to entrust them into the care of Bhishma and Dhritarashtra.' ॥ 1-117-5 ॥
