नाज्ञासिषम अहं मूढा दवन्द्वाह्वाने फलद्वयम तस्मान नाहं नियॊक्तव्या तवयैषॊ ऽसतु वरॊ मम ॥ १-११५-२४ ॥

'Such is the deceitful nature of all wicked women. Alas, I was ignorant that by invoking the twin gods, I could obtain twin children at once. I implore you, O king, not to issue any further commands to me. Let this be the boon you grant me," Kunti pleaded."' ॥ 1-115-24 ॥

nAjJAsiSama ahaM mUDhA davandvAhvAne phaladvayama tasmAna nAhaM niyòktavyA tavayaiSò 'satu varò mama ॥ 1-115-24 ॥
