आययुस तेजसा युक्ता महाक्रॊधा महाबलाः एते चान्ये च बहवस तत्र नागा वयवस्थिताः ॥ १-११४-६१ ॥
'Accompanied by their brilliance and immense strength, filled with great wrath, These and many others, numerous Nagas, were present there.' ॥ 1-114-61 ॥
english translation
Ayayusa tejasA yuktA mahAkròdhA mahAbalAH ete cAnye ca bahavasa tatra nAgA vayavasthitAH ॥ 1-114-61 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतार्क्ष्यश चारिष्टनेमिश च गरुडश चासित धवजः अरुणश चारुणिश चैव वैनतेया वयवस्थिताः ॥ १-११४-६२ ॥
'Garuda, the bearer of the divine flag, along with Tarkshya and Arishtanemi, As well as Aruna and Charuni, the sons of Vinata, were stationed there.' ॥ 1-114-62 ॥
english translation
tArkSyaza cAriSTanemiza ca garuDaza cAsita dhavajaH aruNaza cAruNiza caiva vainateyA vayavasthitAH ॥ 1-114-62 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतद दृष्ट्वा महद आश्चर्यं विस्मिता मुनिसत्तमाः अधिकां सम ततॊ वृत्तिम अवर्तन पाण्डवान परति ॥ १-११४-६३ ॥
'Seeing that great wonder, the eminent sages were astonished. They then resumed their activities and approached the Pandavas.' ॥ 1-114-63 ॥

tada dRSTvA mahada AzcaryaM vismitA munisattamAH adhikAM sama tatò vRttima avartana pANDavAna parati ॥ 1-114-63 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपाण्डुस तु पुनर एवैनां पुत्र लॊभान महायशाः पराहिणॊद दर्शनीयाङ्गीं कुन्ती तव एनम अथाब्रवीत ॥ १-११४-६४ ॥
'The celebrated Pandu, tempted by the desire of having more children wished to speak again unto his wedded wife (for invoking some other god).' ॥ 1-114-64 ॥

pANDusa tu punara evainAM putra lòbhAna mahAyazAH parAhiNòda darzanIyAGgIM kuntI tava enama athAbravIta ॥ 1-114-64 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनातश चतुर्थं परसवम आपत्स्व अपि वदन्त्य उत अतः परं चारिणी सयात पञ्चमे बन्धकी भवेत ॥ १-११४-६५ ॥
'Kunti responded, "Even in times of adversity, the wise do not approve of a fourth union. A woman who engages with four men is termed a Swairini, while one with five is considered a harlot."' ॥ 1-114-65 ॥

nAtaza caturthaM parasavama Apatsva api vadantya uta ataH paraM cAriNI sayAta paJcame bandhakI bhaveta ॥ 1-114-65 ॥
