एष मद्रान वशे कृत्वा कुरूंश च सह केकयैः चेदिकाशिकरूषांश च कुरु लक्ष्म सुधास्यति ॥ १-११४-३१ ॥
'If he becomes the ruler of Madra and allied with the Kurus and the Kekayas, then the fortune of the Kurus will flourish like the rain-clouds pouring down.' ॥ 1-114-31 ॥
english translation
eSa madrAna vaze kRtvA kurUMza ca saha kekayaiH cedikAzikarUSAMza ca kuru lakSma sudhAsyati ॥ 1-114-31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएतस्य भुजवीर्येण खाण्डवे हव्यवाहनः मेदसा सर्वभूतानां तृप्तिं यास्यति वै पराम ॥ १-११४-३२ ॥
'With the strength of his arms, he will offer oblations at Khandava, the carrier of offerings, and through his generosity, he will satisfy the hunger of all beings.' ॥ 1-114-32 ॥
english translation
etasya bhujavIryeNa khANDave havyavAhanaH medasA sarvabhUtAnAM tRptiM yAsyati vai parAma ॥ 1-114-32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगरामणीश च महीपालान एष जित्वा महाबलः भरातृभिः सहितॊ वीरस तरीन मेधान आहरिष्यति ॥ १-११४-३३ ॥
'This mighty one, having defeated the lords of the earth, will bring three horses, along with his brothers, as an offering in the horse sacrifice.' ॥ 1-114-33 ॥

garAmaNIza ca mahIpAlAna eSa jitvA mahAbalaH bharAtRbhiH sahitò vIrasa tarIna medhAna AhariSyati ॥ 1-114-33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptजामदग्न्य समः कुन्ति विष्णुतुल्यपराक्रमः एष वीर्यवतां शरेष्ठॊ भविष्यत्य अपराजितः ॥ १-११४-३४ ॥
'Kunti's son will be equal to Jamadagni, possessing unparalleled valor. He will be the foremost among the courageous and invincible.' ॥ 1-114-34 ॥

jAmadagnya samaH kunti viSNutulyaparAkramaH eSa vIryavatAM zareSThò bhaviSyatya aparAjitaH ॥ 1-114-34 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतथा दिव्यानि चास्त्राणि निखिलान्य आहरिष्यति विप्रनष्टां शरियं चायम आहर्ता पुरुषर्षभः ॥ १-११४-३५ ॥
'He will wield celestial weapons and bring all weapons under his control. He will also retrieve the lost kingdom and revive the lost prestige, O best of men.' ॥ 1-114-35 ॥

tathA divyAni cAstrANi nikhilAnya AhariSyati vipranaSTAM zariyaM cAyama AhartA puruSarSabhaH ॥ 1-114-35 ॥
