धार्मिकश च कुरूणां स भविष्यति न संशयः दत्तस्यापि च धर्मेण नाधर्मे रंस्यते मनः ।। १-११३-४१ ।।

sanskrit

'The god of righteousness and virtue will never tarnish us with sin. The world, O fair princess, will then perceive that our actions can never be impure.' ।। 1-113-41 ।।

english translation

dhArmikaza ca kurUNAM sa bhaviSyati na saMzayaH dattasyApi ca dharmeNa nAdharme raMsyate manaH || 1-113-41 ||

hk transliteration

तस्माद धर्मं पुरस्कृत्य नियता तवं शुचिस्मिते उपचाराभिचाराभ्यां धर्मम आराधयस्व वै ।। १-११३-४२ ।।

sanskrit

'The son we shall have from him will undoubtedly be the foremost among the Kurus in virtue. Conceived by the god of justice and morality, he would never incline his heart towards anything sinful or impure.' ।। 1-113-42 ।।

english translation

tasmAda dharmaM puraskRtya niyatA tavaM zucismite upacArAbhicArAbhyAM dharmama ArAdhayasva vai || 1-113-42 ||

[व] सा तथॊक्ता तथेत्य उक्त्वा तेन भर्त्रा वराङ्गना अभिवाद्याभ्यनुज्ञाता परदक्षिणम अवर्तत ।। १-११३-४३ ।।

sanskrit

'Vaisampayana continued, 'Then Kunti, the epitome of virtue among women, upon hearing her husband's words, replied, "So it shall be." With deep respect, she bowed to him and circled him as per his command, determined to fulfill his wishes.'' ।। 1-113-43 ।।
