वयुच्चरन्त्याः पतिं नार्या अद्य परभृति पातकम भरूण हत्या कृतं पापं भविष्यत्य असुखावहम ।। १-११३-१७ ।।

sanskrit

'Therefore, since the establishment of the current custom, it is considered sinful for women to not remain faithful to their husbands. Women who exceed the boundaries set by the sage incur guilt akin to that of killing an embryo.' ।। 1-113-17 ।।

english translation

vayuccarantyAH patiM nAryA adya parabhRti pAtakama bharUNa hatyA kRtaM pApaM bhaviSyatya asukhAvahama || 1-113-17 ||
