[व] तच छरुत्वा तापस वचः पाण्डुश चिन्तापरॊ ऽभवत आत्मनॊ मृगशापेन जानन्न उपहतां करियाम ॥ १-१११-२१ ॥

'Vaisampayana continued, 'Hearing these words of the ascetics, Pandu, remembering the loss of his procreative powers owing to the curse of the deer, began to reflect deeply.' ॥ 1-111-21 ॥

[va] taca charutvA tApasa vacaH pANDuza cintAparò 'bhavata Atmanò mRgazApena jAnanna upahatAM kariyAma ॥ 1-111-21 ॥
