शरुत्वा च तेभ्यस तत सर्वं यथावृत्तं महावने धृतराष्ट्रॊ नरश्रेष्ठः पाण्डुम एवान्वशॊचत ।। १-११०-४१ ।।

sanskrit

'After hearing from them all that had happened in the great forest according to its truth, the noble Dhritarashtra grieved for Pandu alone.' ।। 1-110-41 ।।

english translation

zarutvA ca tebhyasa tata sarvaM yathAvRttaM mahAvane dhRtarASTrò narazreSThaH pANDuma evAnvazòcata || 1-110-41 ||

राजपुत्रस तु कौरव्यः पाण्डुर मूलफलाशनः जगाम सह भार्याभ्यां ततॊ नागसभं गिरिम ।। १-११०-४२ ।।

sanskrit

'The Kauravas, sons of the king, along with Pandu's wives, then proceeded to the mountain cave, where the Naga assembly was held.' ।। 1-110-42 ।।

english translation

rAjaputrasa tu kauravyaH pANDura mUlaphalAzanaH jagAma saha bhAryAbhyAM tatò nAgasabhaM girima || 1-110-42 ||

स चैत्ररथम आसाद्य वारिषेणम अतीत्य च हिमवन्तम अतिक्रम्य परययौ गन्धमादनम ।। १-११०-४३ ।।

sanskrit

'He next went to Chaitraratha, and then crossed the Kalakuta, and finally, crossed the Himavat, he arrived at Gandhamadana.' ।। 1-110-43 ।।

sa caitrarathama AsAdya vAriSeNama atItya ca himavantama atikramya parayayau gandhamAdanama || 1-110-43 ||

रक्ष्यमाणॊ महाभूतैः सिद्धैश च परमर्षिभिः उवास स तदा राजा समेषु विषमेषु च ।। १-११०-४४ ।।

sanskrit

'Protected by great beings and perfected sages, the king stayed there amidst both favorable and adverse conditions.' ।। 1-110-44 ।।

english translation

rakSyamANò mahAbhUtaiH siddhaiza ca paramarSibhiH uvAsa sa tadA rAjA sameSu viSameSu ca || 1-110-44 ||

hk transliteration

इन्द्र दयुम्न सरः पराप्य हंसकूटम अतीत्य च शतशृङ्गे महाराज तापसः समपद्यत ।। १-११०-४५ ।।

sanskrit

'He then journeyed on to the lake of Indradyumna, whence crossing the mountains of Hansakuta, he went to the mountain of hundred peaks (Sata-sringa) and there continued to practice ascetic austerities.' ।। 1-110-45 ।।
