अगस्त्यः सत्रम आसीनश चचार मृगयाम ऋषिः आरण्यान सर्वदैवत्यान मृगान परॊक्ष्य महावने ॥ १-१०९-१४ ॥

'Once, during a grand sacrifice, the sage Agastya pursued the deer and dedicated all the deer in the forest to the general pantheon of gods.' ॥ 1-109-14 ॥
