[प] शत्रूणां या वधे वृत्तिः सा मृगाणां वधे समृता राज्ञां मृगन मां मॊहात तवं गर्हयितुम अर्हसि ।। १-१०९-१२ ।।

sanskrit

'Hearing this, Pandu responded, "O deer, kings act in the hunting of animals like your kind just as they do in the slaying of enemies. Therefore, you should not reproach me in ignorance."' ।। 1-109-12 ।।

english translation

[pa] zatrUNAM yA vadhe vRttiH sA mRgANAM vadhe samRtA rAjJAM mRgana mAM mòhAta tavaM garhayituma arhasi || 1-109-12 ||
